What's your favorite place to hangout and any fav food hunt?

Bugis junction (shopping mall), the arcade inside that mall and the "Ma Maison" restaurant.


Bugis Junction seems to be the base of where you hangout, all the three place mentioned are located in the same place? Is there any other place where you like to hang out?

Orchard road along with my girl friend for shopping.

Do the rest of the Sword members also hang out with you in those instances?

No not at all.. they hate it when I start playing my game in the arcade because its gonna take so long to wait for me to finish.

WOW, then what game are you stuck with usually in the arcade?

"King of Fighters"

For that game, have you ever think about turing pro too?

Nope never thought of it before, because the only country that has competitive arcade tourneys is Japan

Then does it come across to you that you might wanna migrate there for that? LoL.

Nope.. I only treat arcade game as a way to train your reflexes, like a warm up to make your brain start thinking faster.


For CS tournament do you warm up by playing some round of KOF too?

Haha...if theres arcade near by, but thats if there's challengers too, computers are boring opponents. If not I'll go for a certain plane game, because in a way its eye to hand coordination.

Ok, let's go back to shopping you mentioned about just now. What are the stuffs you usually look at, and what your gf look at? Do you both shop together or seperate where you look yours and she look for hers?

Together, shes always insist of choosing things for me. So yeah, I am more like the shopping bags carrier.

Then when she shops for "ahem" stuffs, will you also there with her?

Yap, it's nothing to be shy I feel.

You mentioned about "Ma Maison", is that your favorite restaurant? Tell us more about the food there.

It's a French/Japanese cuisine restaurant. It's located at Bugis Junction level 2, they have nice atmosphere with tea light and such and its a place where I really find that I can slowly eat and enjoy my food. They serve really nice beef straganov butter rice, and their escargot is delicious! It's the ideal place to bring your love ones for a dinner.

Other than this, any other cool restaurant to recommend?

I think it'll be "oosh" , its a place where one of my mates brought us to, its located at 22 Dempsey road. I recommend that u go there in the evening or night as the atmosphere there is terrific you can choose either open air or indoors. I went there with "Prasad" before for a casual dinner.

Ok, other than gaming, shopping and eating. What else do you do, any healthy lifestyle stuffs?

I swim twice a week, soon gotta take up piano/ dancing lessons. Hahaha, its something that my galfriend wants me to take up. So yea , I'll do it since its the start of new year. I haven't really decided on which dance yet, as I'm still stuck between piano and dancing. Most probably will be dancing for me, social dance I guess. Will start by March.

Now, let's get to gaming part, since when, did you started on casual gaming? After that when you turn pro?

I started Counter Strike 10 years ago, when it was beta 1. Started playing for leisure during 1st year and got competitive during 2nd year onwards. Been to many clans and won quite a number of local events including WCG etc.

What spurs you to become pro? Is it a natural process?

Opportunities and a bit of luck, and of course not forgetting all the hard work thats put into training together with the team before singapore sword css team was found we were a team called team TitaNs. I joined them 1 month before Singapore WCG 07, in prior that most of them were my old teammates and friends. We had alot to overcome, as we had only a month to train and to win it. Fortunately we won the event and represented Singapore to Seattle for the world final everything was looking good for us, till some controversy came about regarding the head marshal being biased which I don't wish to discuss about as its a past now. So yea, we got back to Singapore, knowing that theres a CGS qualifier in Singapore and its CSS not 1.6 so for me personally I have no experience playing in CSS as much as the rest of the TitaNs crew, we got 5 days to train and to compete.

WOW, it's a big risk then?

Witnessing the miracle was just incredible, hahaha it's do or die. We then represented Singapore and headed to Malaysia for Pan Asia. That is where we fight and accomplish our dreams as a pro gamers. Which is how i turn pro as i am now :)

So after this rocket ride in your gaming career, what is your plan for 2008?

To continue training myself hard together with the team and defend the upcoming pan asia championship title.

When would that be?

The exact date is not confirm yet, will be announce anytime soon.

Have you all started on training? Or still in haitus stage?

We're still settling some stuffs, will start as soon we're ready. We're now planning on training schedules and some personal stuffs. Some of us are taking up courses , so planning of time is needed.
